On November 8, 2024, at a panel discussion on the topic “Government support and international cooperation in textile exports,” Gesamtmasche director Silvia Jungbauer made an official speech.
At the Heimtextil exhibition in Tashkent, Director of Gesamtmasche Silvia Jungbauer and project manager Malika Akramova shared Germany’s valuable experience in the textile sector, and also discussed the prospects for cooperation between Germany and Uzbekistan. Their presentation attracted the attention of the participants and aroused keen interest in the development of the textile industry in Uzbekistan.
Silvia Jungbauer noted in her presentation that the German textile industry has many years of experience and research that allows it to produce high-quality products that meet the most stringent international standards, as well as the possibility of GSP+ preferences. She emphasized the importance of innovation and sustainable development in this area. Germany is actively introducing modern technologies, which not only increases competitiveness, but also minimizes the impact on the environment. Mrs. Jungbauer shared the experience of German manufacturers, the formation of the brand, and provided some statistical figures on the production of the textile sector in Germany.
Malika Akramova, in her official speech, highlighted the importance of cooperation between Germany and Uzbekistan in the field of the textile industry. Noted that Germany is one of the main partners of Uzbekistan in the segment of integration of education and production. This interaction opens up new opportunities for Uzbek producers, allowing them to adapt to the requirements of the European market and improve the quality of their products.
At the end of their speech, Mrs. Jungbauer and Mrs. Akramova discussed the future prospects of the “Partnering in Business with Germany” project. They emphasized the importance of creating a platform for dialogue between Uzbek and German companies, which will allow establishing high-quality cooperation and increasing the efficiency of production processes.
