A week-long seminar-training on yarn, fabric, and textiles dyeing, conducted by international expert Matthias Koch, has concluded in the city of Fergana. The event was organized with the support of Gesamtmasche and gathered leading specialists from the textile industry.
Participants included representatives from the Tashkent Textile and Light Industry Institute, Namangan Textile Institute, as well as over 10 leading enterprises in Uzbekistan’s textile industry.
The seminar covered all key stages of the dyeing process, including:
• Preparation of raw materials before dyeing (water preparation, pre-treatment)
• Selection of dyes and chemical compositions (general information about dye groups)
• Modern dyeing methods that ensure color fastness and uniformity (optimization of dyeing processes, batch and continuous dyeing procedures)
• Innovative technologies that minimize water and chemical usage
• Quality control at every stage of production
As a result of the training, specialists from enterprises and universities gained valuable knowledge and skills that will help improve the quality of textile products, reduce costs, and implement more environmentally friendly technologies.
As part of the seminar, participants visited the relocated German enterprise Teamdress, where they were introduced to the company’s production processes. This visit provided attendees with a firsthand look at the innovative techniques and technologies employed in Teamdress’s operations, allowing them to gain practical insights into the implementation of modern dyeing methods and production practices. The experience enriched their understanding of the industry’s standards and showcased the potential for adopting advanced solutions in their own enterprises.
Participants highly appreciated the seminar’s content, noting Matthias Koch’s depth of knowledge, the accessibility of the material presented, and the usefulness of the information received.
