On March 6, 2025, a training session on “Basic Training on Fiber Processing” was held in the city of Fergana, as previously announced. The event took place at the Polytechnic Institute with the support of the Gesamtmashe association and within the framework of the GUZ Partners program. It was also organized in collaboration with the Fergana Polytechnic Institute and the Fergana representative office of the Uztextileprom Association. The training gathered representatives from various enterprises and organizations interested in the development of the industry.
The goal of the training was to improve the qualifications of specialists in the field of fiber processing, which is particularly relevant for the textile industry. The international expert, Justin Kühn, shared his extensive knowledge and experience accumulated over years of work in this field.
During the training, participants studied the basics of fiber processing, modern technologies, and methods used in this area. Justin Kühn presented practical examples and case studies that helped participants gain a deeper understanding of the processing procedures. Special attention was given to sustainability and environmental issues, as well as ways to minimize negative environmental impacts by implementing eco-friendly technologies.
The foundation of textile production is high-quality yarn, which is why the training began with the early stages of its production. Only with proper raw material processing can high-quality yarn be obtained, leading to superior finished products.
This training became an important opportunity for specialists from different countries to exchange experiences. Participants not only received valuable theoretical knowledge but also acquired practical skills they can apply in their work.
Another key goal of this training was to educate women entrepreneurs in the textile industry, enabling them to grow and contribute to the region’s economy. Events like this promote not only the professional development of individual specialists but also the advancement of the entire industry.
