In 2023, textile enterprises exported products under 27 international brands.
By the end of the year, $1.2 billion worth of textile products had been exported to brands.
This year, the participation of more than 150 enterprises in 16 major international exhibitions in countries such as Germany, Russia, France, Spain, Italy, Turkey, and the USA was ensured.
In addition, as a result of the development of e-commerce, products worth 400 million dollars were exported through marketplaces such as Wildberries and Ozon. More than 110,000 tons of artificial fibers and mixed fabrics were processed this year in order to expand the production of value-added products and increase competition.
In order to expand exports to the American market, the US WRAP certificate was introduced in 11 enterprises this year.
Together with the Export Promotion Agency, 7 types of standards were introduced at 60 enterprises, and the number of certified enterprises was doubled.
Currently, we would like to poin out that more than 2,500 textile and sewing-knitting enterprises are operating in Namangan region. The level of production of finished products and their export mainly to European countries is growing in this region.
On September 8-10, 2024, Samarkand will host the Joint Conference of two major international textile federations of the world – Annual Conference ITMF and IAF Fashion Convention.
At the UzTextile Expo Spring exhibition in Tashkent from May 28 to 30, 2024, on the initiative of Gesamtmasche, the German pavilion will again operate, followed by a trip to Narmangan.
