“New Horizons: A Top European Premium Brand in Uzbekistan’s Textile Production”
In recent years, Uzbekistan has become an increasingly attractive destination for international business, and the visit this week by one of the leading European premium brands in the men’s and women’s ready-to-wear segment serves as a vivid confirmation of this fact. As part of GUZ partners and with the support of Gesamtmasche, Mr. Wolf-Dieter Lang, a representative of ARTIFEX CO. Ltd., arrived in Uzbekistan to familiarize himself with the operations of local textile enterprises and assess the possibilities for collaboration.
The primary goal of the brand’s visit was to get acquainted with the production processes and technologies used in Uzbekistan’s textile industry, as well as to explore potential cooperation. Together with the Uztextilprom association, a tour was organized to enterprises producing suits for both men and women. During his visit, the representative of the European company Artifex toured more than 15 local enterprises, including brands such as IDEAL, Molto Caldo, ADIM, FAZMAN, Teamdress, as well as Mustang Textile, Sadokat Sanoat Servis, Yozvon Textile, Amira Textile, Yustex, Namuna Textile and others.
During the visit, the representative of Artifex noted the high potential of Uzbek companies and expressed interest in establishing long-term partnerships. Various aspects of collaboration were discussed, including joint developments, technology exchange, and new design innovations. The brand is considering placing long-term orders with Uzbek companies to expand the export opportunities for local textile products. This initiative highlights the growing interest in Uzbekistan as a center for fashion production and opens new horizons for collaboration.
It is expected that such a partnership will lead to the creation of unique collections that will be in demand in both domestic and international markets. The visit of such top brands to Uzbekistan marks an important step towards strengthening ties in textile production. With its rich potential and traditions in this field, Uzbekistan can become a reliable partner for foreign companies seeking to expand their business into new markets.
A week-long seminar-training on yarn, fabric, and textiles dyeing, conducted by international expert Matthias Koch, has concluded in the city of Fergana. The event was organized with the support of Gesamtmasche and gathered leading specialists from the textile industry.
